I have a pocket pc i-mate connected to vodafone. I receive messages by sms from vodafone...vodafone message page. Is there any software upgrade out there that will enable me to "use number" and dial....just like my 5 year old Nokia phone lets me!!!! At the moment, the only way to dial the number that has just been texted to me is to use the stylus to scroll carefully over the whole phone number, edit, copy, switch to phone mode, edit, paste and dial....what a drama...pretty hard to do while driving!! (yeah I know...I have a headset for driving...but it's stopped working for a while!!). ny suggestions

imatey - you should be able to just use the 'toggle' and navigate to the number, press in on the toggle/action key (the phone number is highlighted on mine) and it will ask you if you want to dial or not.

Hope this helps...

Thanks for trying to solve this for me. Your suggestion works for dialling numbers in the address book, but is not relevant for dialling numbers that appear in my text message inbox. Anyone else have any suggestions??
