If this ends up being true i'm kinda pissed. The PS5 looks awful in white. Sticks out like a sore thumb. Why not just stick with the traditional Black color consoles have had for the past decade? Every other device in our entertainment units are black. Damn it lol. Ive seen mock-ups. PS5 looks awesome in Jet Black.

I purchased a ps5 preorder from noel leeming, nad received a confirmation receipt email.

I'm assuming that noel leeming will know how many PS5's are allocated to them at launch, so can fulfil preorders. Otherwise, what is the point of a pre-order?

I see that NL have pulled their PS5 pre-orders from their website now. So, I'm hoping I do get mine on the release date.

I totally agree BUT it may be one of those things that looks much better in 'real life'.

In saying that, the side panels are changeable so you'll be able to have any colour you want ultimately

Sorry but I think it looks great - we have a gloss white entertainment unit and the white PS5 is going to look very cool in its recess in there. I have no black components apart from the TV. Each to his own.

No, sorry for the confusion. Since the companies themselves weren't really forthcoming with pre-order info (which naturally resulted in a mixed bag when they went live today), I was hoping I could confirm a few details with people who had already gone through the motions with pre-ordering the PS5.

Personally I like the white! Black boxes are so per se!
I always got the Playstation in white where/when possible.
I guess my hesitation with it is the lack of symmetry with the device - with the wave look think it might look weird horizontal.
It does look like a bit of a beast too in dimensions!

Yup, it was messy. Sold out within minutes most places and plagued with technical issues (at least EB Games was).

I only just managed to get my order through when EB did a second wave of "post launch" pre-orders this afternoon.

Yup, it was messy. Sold out within minutes most places and plagued with technical issues (at least EB Games was).

Great news got your pre-order!
JB HiFi still had pre-orders available for the S.
Interestingly the sites are saying there will be another shipment before xmas - in case anyone missed out on the X model.

I would totally get a ps1 grey version if they had it! Hopefully the sides are easily changeable

Sorry same no contact since. Would be nice to confirm considering they charged the full amount. Happy it’s booked. Chances are being a small town some may be allocated to the store anyway.

Anyone else just keen for more/any details !
