Thanks for that. Hopefully if I order online, they can take an in-store payment with the gift card.

@ShinyChrome I’ve noticed your posts here and on the new Xbox thread - are you looking to buy both?

I’ve bought both :)

Did xbox pre-ordering go live today and did it sell out quickly too?

Yes, faultless experience with mightyape who are not wanting a payment in full up front which is a violation of most merchant agreements, they only want $100 and that was by email after securing the preorder.

Others I have spoken to have had it go fine on mighty ape.

About what I would consider an upgrade from a 65" but I would seriously have to check if it would get into the gaming room because of the narrow hallway and stairs that go around a corner. When they hit $3k I will bite.

Looking at my TV now - which is a pretty old 50 inch - and I would have to do a fair amount of re-arranging in my room to get that working ha! Think I could make it work though!

I have to get it wall mounted since the legs on it are wider apart than the width of my current entertainment unit πŸ˜‚ It's replacing a 65" 4K LCD. I honestly can't wait!

I've heard of good experiences with Mighty Ape. Unfortunately myself and most of my mates missed out on the Mighty Ape PS5 pre-orders, so guess you got to be quick!
