I am a bit confused about what I need to do to download a game to a PS3. I have gone into NZ PSN store which shows games available but then I have to do into Sony Entertainment website to purchase the games.

Does this mean that I have to set up an account for NZ PSN store and an account for Sony Entertainment website also and will I have to pay for setting up accounts for both of these websites. It appears that this is also the approach if I wanted to set up an account for US PSN store and Sony entertainment website.

They changed the psn account system a while ago and now they call them SEN accounts (sony entertainment network) so you just use the one account across all their services. So when you go onto the website storefront it's like store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com but it's the same as the store on the psn and you just use the same account to log in. If you want to make a US account you just have create one using a US address etc.

I just may have stumbled upon the right thread at the exact right time. You see I'm in a bit of a pickle, I bought a PS+ one year subscription off NZGAMESHOP via email for $70 and was rather upset when it wouldn't work. Went back to the site and realised under the product description it mentioned that this was for UK PSN accounts only. Normally I would have checked this and I really don't know why I did not I'm normally quite the opposite of an impulse buyer and more often than not miss out on good deals while I ponder the decision.

I really like trophies so at the moment I am much more inclined to sell it rather than create a UK account to use it. If anybody is interested please let me know.

GZ offers and wanted thread below.

I was just wondering, previously I needed a UK address and credit card to make purchase on my PS3 however I just logged into my account on the SEN website to update my details and it allowed me to have a UK billing address but a NZ credit card, is this new? Will it work as it wasn't allowed before?

Should I just re-add my UK credit card?

Thanks
