I think you should find a list for the exclusives coming out in the next year or so and decide from there.

KiwiNZ:
gnfb: As I lean towards a Xbox1 I started to do some research on price
Man! what a nightmare

$749 to $644 for a similar package

To be fair the $644 was a mailorder price form mighty ape but having used there service several times before I know it is 24 hour delivery
Also they included at present a additional game.

So that's $100 difference Thats a game!

May even be worth waiting a week as there does seem to be a bit of a battle between the main players at present

I paid $644 at Noel Leeming and it included Titan Fall and Forza 5

My local store Wanganui says they wont match a mail order store in prices which store did you use?

Oh sorry I just rellised that  the Might ape dels has three games in all for $644

I was just flicking through some of the forums here relating to the two gaming consoles.
Is it just me or does it seem that there are a hell of a lot of problems with both devices?

There seems to be a never ending stream of "it wont do this" "does it do that?' etc

Are they both so bleeding edge that they are still in the testing stage? and using the general public as the test

I bought both at launch. I used the Xbox 1 for about 4 days, and it has been used for about 2 hours this entire year. I have spent a LOT of time on my PS4 and I know which I prefer by a country mile. I'll keep my X1 because they are worthless second hand but to me other than the odd exclusive title the X1 had like DR3 and Forza 5, the only major benefit for me of the X1 is the Kinect which admittedly is impressive.

The only thing X1 could win me over with now, is either incredible numbers of exclusive games or being the first and or only device to allow me to stream from my PC to my X1 which I could do with both my PS3 and X360.

I significantly prefer the controllers on the PS4 over the X1. It's not even close.

I have recently bought a PS4, and have been blown away by the graphics. I dont have an Xbox One so cant compare.

Before I bought one, I was disappointed to hear that it didnt have DLNA, nor play mp3s as the PS3 did. Saying that, I never used those functions, and it's not an issue as my tv & av receiver can do those things.

I purchased a PS4 and the graphics in Infamous Second Son are amazing, can't wait for Watch_Dogs. I have a friend with an XBox One and he is trading it in for a PS4, said he was unhappy but everyone likes different things.

My response is slightly PS4 biased as I don't have an Xbox One but I personally would look at the games and see what you like plus the other aspect to look at is the Xbox One is a media machine, PS4 is a pure gaming machine. The PS4 has better graphics and hardware (Kojima has quoted that Metal Gear Solid will be better on PS4 than the Xbox One due to better hardware) but so far the Xbox One seems to have more games.

Notable PS4 exclusives: Infamous Second Son, The Last of Us remastered, The Order, Driveclub, Uncharted, God of War.

Notable Xbox One exclusives: Dead Rising 3, Forza, Gears of War, Halo, Titanfall (Could argue Ryse but heard its rubbish).

So initially I took home a PS4 with a camera but in the setup I wasn't that excited about it and the lack of streaming etc Had me taking it back and changing for a xbox
I imagine that hardend gameplayers would go for the PS4 but I'm not one
The setup was reasonably easy
The Xbox gold thing yea ....its a pain but hey weve had it good for so many years maybe its time to pay the piper.
I havnt really delved into it to much but I feel more comfortable with the UI

A point to watch is that if you get the xbox 1 titan pack its all digital games

The PS4 camera is a pain to mount (they give you a bit of double sided tape ...seriously!)

I picked up a copy of COD Ghosts? had a bit of a go pretty cool
