As a person who is about to purchase either a Xbox1 or a PS4
I am a bit like Sheldon (The big bang theory) Not sure which

The interesting comparison I mention is on TM

They have 33 xbox1 consoles for sale
and
only 24 PS4's

We are told that more PS4's have been sold than xbox 1's

So does that mean that more people that bought xbox1s are disenchanted and selling them, than those that bought PS4's?

I ended up going with the Xbox one even though several features are still awol or just plain broken. As for the Big Bang episode about it, it  was very funny and embarrassingly accurate,

I wouldnt go for either at this stage. First one to lose the optical drive and need for shuffling stupid round artifacts around will win my support.

Oh, and I would like one that allows you to repeat the wireless controllers somehow. As it is for the PS3 I have the console downstairs since its too noisy, and the wirless controller is quite flakey coming thru the floor. USB is fine however on a 5m extension cable. If there was an external wireless controller reciever I could hang on the end of a USB cable that would be great.

Look at the exclusive games line up currently available, coming up for release this year and franchises that both Microsoft and Sony own. Decide which you like,
Look at which console your friends own and play on most as you would want to play online together at the same time with them.

Do whatever you want to do man.

download your games from the Xbox Store and no DVDs required, no getting up off the couch to change disks to play a different game

I went with the PS4 and I regret purchasing it at this time. I'm a big motorsport fan and their is only one racing game which is Need for Speed which is buggy and not great. The next lot of racing games have pretty much all been delayed and the release dates are yet to be announced.

As I lean towards a Xbox1 I started to do some research on price
Man! what a nightmare

$749 to $644 for a similar package

To be fair the $644 was a mailorder price form mighty ape but having used there service several times before I know it is 24 hour delivery
Also they included at present a additional game.

So that's $100 difference Thats a game!

May even be worth waiting a week as there does seem to be a bit of a battle between the main players at present

I paid $644 at Noel Leeming and it included Titan Fall and Forza 5
