it's much easier to navigate on the online store, buy what you want, then fiddle with the PS3 settings and it will magically download them ... usually ...

I only "buy" $0.00 ones :D

I discovered it because there was one time PSN was not working and the only way to get something was using the method described

It's where I get pretty much everything. Even when cheaper I don't really want the hassle of disks. I still have some unplayed from when warehouse was a viable option from their clearance, but everything I've got on the hdd has been at least started and had a look at.

us accounts for both help with the pricing but have had the odd issue with the 360 and region BS.

Don't think my ps4 or xbone have ever seen a disk.

xpd: 11g (ps3) vs 11n (ps4) can answer that if youve got 11n AP.

Store has always been sluggish IIRC.

They dont have an online web based store do they ?

I don't use wireless on my PS3's or my PS4 or PS TV, only my Vita.  The PS3 store is incredibly slow compared to all other methods
