No problems here.

9PM, downloaded Portal 2 at 4.7MBps (just under 40Mbps.  My VDSL line is 45Mbps)

Lords of the Fallen discount is pretty meh.  Was going to pick that up, but its still cheaper on Kinguin.   Someone mentioned a GOTY edition for it coming in a few months on reddit as well.

Sadly I havent really picked much up so far, I have everything that is on sale thats worth buying...

I haven't used my Steam account for several years, and I wasn't going to buy anything this sale either.   But I'm quite impressed by SteamDB, where prices show in all currencies, as well as converted to the US currency.  So you can see the graph of prices, how the US price compares to NZ (and other currencies), which currency has it best and by how much, and so forth. It's the perfect site for me to justify buying some more games.

Having $25 NZD on my account from the short period when I played Spiral Knights, I just purchased Dishonored, Shadowrun: Dragonfall: Directors Cut and Bioshock Infinite for $21.37 NZD.  Knowing I am paying a few quid less than the Yanks, who last I used Steam were paying significantly lower prices, is icing on the cake.

By the time I've played them, perhaps Wasteland 2 and Pillars of Eternity will have hit the $10 mark.

Glad I'm not the only one. I had been getting a solid 15mb per second for over a year, all of a sudden It's at 7kbps and keeps giving me an error. I'm pretty sure there's more to it than the sales.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that didn't find much to pick up this round of sales. Everything I already had or some of the sales seemed a bit weaker on average from what I remember of previous summer sales?

I spent about $100 this summer sale, the last summer sale I spent around $750 IIRC.

A lot of the $100 was buying 2 copies of games (one for me + one for my son, sharing sucks since you cant play a game in a friends/families library when they're playing ANY game in their library).

Glad I didnt buy primal carnage, which I nearly did buy 2 copies of, since I got 2 free keys yesterday from that key give away mentioned on reddit :) That saved me $16 or so.

Spent a total of $7 - bought Pirates! which I already owned from when it first came out (but prefer a digital copy in case lose disc), and Poker Night 1 and 2.  Good for a laugh :)
