Inphinity: I apparently have only 527 games in 11 years. That's disappointing. I need to get some more. I probably have a ton of unclaimed humble bundle games... this monthly thing will help bump the number up.

Yeah I was surprised I only have 517 on my 12 year old account:

Value with sales: $2200, value without sales: $7713 (NZD)

Also 80+ hours in Lego Marvel - at least I can blame most of that on my 5 year old.

edit: OK - played times should be taken with a large amount of salt - early steam must not have tracked it as I don't have any recorded time for HL2, Ep1, Ep2, Blue Shift etc..

Lego marvel is my favourite one.  I have them all, only finished 2 of them.  My 6 year old is playing ARK like mad ATM.  setup a private server for him, made it a lot easier for him, and I play with him a few days a week.  Not my type of game, but I like making buildings in it with him.

He was mad on minecraft until ARK.

wasabi2k you should get your 5year old oozi.  Thats the best platformer I found for a kid, it has a "kid mode" to make it a lot easier for them.

My total steam spend is $2450.  But I bought heaps from kinguin, humblebundle, greenmangaming etc, so yeah....   at least I have 500+ games with that, on console that would only be 25ish games :)

They always have been taken with a grain of salt.  If you start something up and it sits on the splash screen, then you whip out to grab something, get sidetracked, watch a movie or 2, return to your computer and it will say you have played for 8 hours, when you haven't even watched the opening cinematic yet.

Also don't blame your wee one for Lego games, some of them are excellent games, embrace it :)

I know! - I've played through the story with him through all of Marvel and Lego Movie - some of the puzzles are a bit obtuse for him yet (even I had trouble with a few).

Marvel was/is an amazing game - the open world city stuff is great - my son just drives around and causes havok. I have to admit I cheated to unlock everyone after we finished the story as I couldn't be arsed getting eleven billion bricks.

I have all the Batman Lego games too - but they tend to be a bit heavy on the puzzle stuff and I have to do a lot of the actual solving so tend to stay away from those with him. One day when i get some free time I might play those.

We've also been playing Poly Bridge (I do most of the building) - that has been good fun.

He is also heavy into his Minecraft - he plays on my Nexus 7 and we have multiplayer at night if he's been good. Might load a dedicated server on my server at home and look into some mod stuff.

edit: thank reven will give oozi a look.

well its been released, and I thought (like most) the first one would be great, im sadly disappointed.  had all the games worth having in that bundle already (saints row4... really thats been on sale every other freaking week, of course most people have that already).

list is
- Towerfall Ascension
- Besiege
- Valkyria Chronicles
- Lethal League
- SanctuaryRPG: Black Edition
- Saints Row IV

oh and Saints Row IV isnt even the game of the century edition.  how lame.

so if anyone wants Saints Row IV, Valkyria Chronicles let me know, keen to swap those for something I dont have (only games with gamepad support)

I had the same thought, I’m Hopeful December (Christmas) might be better so haven’t cancelled yet.

Also can I use unactivated humble bundle keys in any steam account? They just say “redeem on Steam”

Yes you can, just click on redeem and it'll give you a code that you can activate in any Steam account.

I'm also pretty disappointed with what they've provided, but I'm also going to see what they do for December. If anyone wants a Saints Row IV Steam key send me a message, you'll just need to have been a member of Geekzone for 3 months.

I didn't fare too badly:
Didn't have any of the games
All the games have good reviews
The price of the subscription is cheaper than buying the games even at their record lows.

I'm gonna stick with it.  It's like a lottery ticket stuffed in your undies draw.

I was thinking about picking up Valkyria Chronicles. I have a bunch of spare Humble keys that I never used/ already owned. Might have something you're interested in

I was severely disappointed.  If I hadn't bought Valkyria Chronicles it would be great value.

But having bought that game I was gutted.

I also thought Saints Row 4 being in it, to have a better edition for $5 on sale in the store was a bit on the nose.

Cancelled my sub.

This one apparently leaked a few days early.  So next month ill have to keep an eye on reddit when its closer to the date.
