I knew they would price the new Super cards higher here

Anything new always has a higher price...

Direct from Nvidia they may cost the same as the old cards but third party seller's will add their markups for sure unless Nvidia forbid them to do that.

I don't really follow AMD but are the new Radeon cards better then the RTX cards by nvidia prompting them to bring out the Super range?

If so that's got to be a first Nvidia always has more powerful cards then AMD...

Rx5700xt more or less = somewhere between 2070 & 2070 Super depending on your exact needs one might be much better than the other but on average about the same.

Makes the RX 5700 XT the obvious choice over the 2070 or the 2070s.
Shame the stock coolers are poor, wait another month for the partner cards I guess, hopefully they are the same price as the reference or if more then not much.

Usually they are a small premium above; which given the high price point of the 2060S/2070S, I wouldn't be surprised if it near $800, and higher for "premium" models.

Pb Tech has the reference cards listed for just under $700, so maybe $800 for the partner cards, hopefully under though.

Uhh not sure what you were implying, as far as I can see there is a clear difference in price between the super and non-super.

And same again for the 2070 super and non-super

Cheapest 2070 is around $830 though I think there was one for $765 late last week.
2070s is around $975 at the cheapest.

I really can't see the argument for nvidia over RX 5700XT at these prices.

should you not be comparing the 2060 super to the 2070 as thats essentially what it is now?

same with the 2070 super and 2080

That is one way to slice it, although I was referring to the earlier assertion that you are getting a "free" upgrade from non-super to super, since it is how Nvidia promoted it.

But as per your comparison, at the current price points really you are just getting a slightly cheaper, rebranded higher level card.

No, the 2070s has replaced the existing 2070 at the same price (according to nvidia anyway) and the upcoming 2080s is going to replace the 2080. The 2060 is the only one remaining but should have had a price cut.

I got my RTX card for DLSS which was supposed to be coming to PUBG I've heard nothing more about it.

I do feel like I have been ripped off paying so much for a card with features I can't use.
