Fired Torchlight up last night(after a 4 minute 400mb download-thanks Telstraclear!) and was pleasantly surprised.
Seems pretty decent if somewhat rudimentry.

Very diablo 2 like.....except 3d. Almost a cross between diablo and a single player wow.

Played an alchemist!! Think ill prob get the full version tonight and get cracking! Loading times for entering the mines were on the high side but other than that had no probs picking up and getting going.

As an ex diablo 2 and ex wow player it was childs play. Id suggest starting on extra hard!

@Rossmnz I was too, pleasantly surprised few days ago when I downloaded the demo, and been keen with it. Apparently from Runic Games forum, a lot of people said it's too easy on normal. It's quite basic, but lots of quests from the NPC though.

Do bear in mind, there seem to be some slight delay in terms of getting activation key (if purchased from Runic directly) I'm not too sure if the same be problematic if you get the game from Steam though.

it's a 24-hour thing (in the worst case)... but if you don't get it soon after the purchase, email them (it's in Runic Games forum I think) to their customer service, then they'll get into action.

The game is very/fairly new as it was officially announced just in early november.
