Just an FYI for those of you on Big Time with this game (and obviously) having issues, I'd love to be able to put in specific rules like we have for other games that require a small amount of unmanaged traffic to pass through but I do require pretty specific information from the hosts, most game companies out there have been more than helpful in this area, trying to get that out of those who look after the ps/xbox networks is extremely difficult.

CB_24: on Big Time and running COD-MW2 without any issues or lag, sometimes get the bad host but the game does a good job of moving it onto another host.

agree, on bigtime plan and have no issues with MW2, get the odd US based host and some lag now and then but all good here.

A few years ago who would have thought we'd have a Telecom product manager who's willing to get this involved in the product....

Keep up the good work!

well it seems I have found a solution to playing MW2 on my big Time connections.

I switch on, search for playlists, then watch TV for 30 mins. when I come back I can play, and get 3 green bars too.

It seems to me that it is not the game itself that is manged (since it seems to work well) but just the bit where you download the playlists. Still, very annoying though.

you can try to GO plan for 3gb.
activate 10 bars of ping and avoid hosting any games.
i have played for 15 hours now and only used 200gb of my usage...

gz ftw

don't know if anythiong has been done by Telecom, but I am still on Big Time and MW2 (on the PS3) is working beautifully.

instead of getting stuck on the 'finind playlists' screen for 30 mins (whichis what was happening before), it goes through it in 10 seconds, then finding a game takes a few seconds more and I'm in.

so far, nothing but full green bars for my ping.

I recently switched from Big Time to the Pro plan for a month so I can play MW2 PS3 a bit more during the holidays.

On Big Time before, it took up to half an hour to connect to a game etc. but once it connected it was fine. Pro was a lot better, instant connections. Now that I changed back to Big Time it's back to the half an hour fetching playlists thing.

It'd be nice if MW2 wasn't shaped (if that was possible) but oh well, Bad Company 2 will be out soon.

it depends on your location and who else is online by the looks. some ppl get instant games on bigtime, others have a 30min wait.
