Um a few new things his monerta is only 15' CRT.
And he will go for AMD as a las resort.
And he will probs be doing DIY.


You could up him to a 19" for free (or close to free)

Ragnor: Ok I was bored so using his requirements of ~$1000 max, Intel only and my opinion of the balance for a gaming system capable of playing BC2 on passable settings here's what I came up with:



Um you need at lest a 450w psu to use a ati5770

Its a recommendation, not a requirement... so a 420 would probably cut it.
