cgrew: Or

Your wife is looking at buying a sports car and you need to get this game to demonstrate to her all the lovely (Hi-Def only on PS3!) cars...

:)

LOL I wish :-p

Dont think you can class the little Wingroad family wagon as a sports car....

And she dosent like driving my mothers VtiR that I borrow occasionally (230k on the clock and the thing still hoofs it) ..... so that wont work.

AmooMan: I have preordered Singanture edition also :)

I work for JB HiFi so will beable to look at the box a few hours before you guys...
But still not gota wait for release day before I can take it home :(

I think you have confused your words.  I assume you mean you do have to wait (I think there is a superfluous 'not' in there).

Correction   :)   You are right.. I do have to wait like everyone else :)

Is that just the standard edition though? I think I'll probably be getting the collector's edition, MightyApe are selling it for $139.

Signature edition is a little expensive for me..

Yup just the standard edition but $89 vs $119 at MA ?

Id be happy with standard tho, Ive got enough other car crap around the house to pee the wife off with let alone getting more with the collectors edition etc ;)

$89 is definitely a good price for GT5 theres no disputing that, I'll see how heavy the wallet is closer to the time before going for the Collector's edition :)

Hopefully there will be a few copies at MightyApe, I'm not to worried either way - just getting the game is the main priority.

I think I'm going to set aside a good few days to immerse myself in GT5 when it arrives at my door (hopefully on release day).
I can't wait to drive the 787B on the Nürburgring again! Good time.... good times. Smile
I'm also keen to check out the new Red Bull X1 prototype. Looks awesome!!

I have ordered the standard edition from MA, but I see that they now have the collectors edition listed for only $20 more. Wondering if I should go for the collectors edition now? Is there any great advantage?
