on the BLOPs matter funny thing is i have very close specs to an xbox360 (amdx3, ddr2ram and 5770) and it runs perfectly XD?

Your 5770 will beat xbox 360 without even trying

And you won't have to put up with sub-par resolutions on the console. My old 8800GT was cranking BC2 in full HD on nearly maxed out settings.

yeah i know but the xbox uses the similar hardware "roots" even though its obviously more fleshed out, just find it funny in a way

Jaw is on the floor after that video! the graphics on that are unreal to say the least!

Ive just gotten back into Bad Company 2 over the last few weeks, i wasnt looking into getting BF3, but its well and truly on the watchlist now.. Will be interesting to see if the old 5770 will be able to deliver the goods as well as it does for BC2 tho.

Anyone pre-ordered the game from EA? I think if you pre-order(direct from EA) you get the exclusive 4 map pack. There's nothing on Mightyape or any other local retailers that stipulates you get the map pack.

I don't particularly want to pre-order from EA themselves, as that would mean I'd also have to download the game from them AND it's probably safe to assume it would have to be at least a 4-7Gb download (seeing as the game itself includes both MP and SP components, with the latter being story driven).

on a side note...Marines VS Aliens in Battle for LA, I'm reaaallly looking forward to this movie!

I'm never pre-ordering again after doing so with Black Ops - what a waste of money.

Will probably wait a few days for initial feedback and will get then get it via Steam.

Could have told you months before black ops came out that it was a waste of money, that franchise has been in freefall since the first modern warfare. I pre-ordered Bad Company 2 and ill pre-order BF3, as soon as its on steam.. I dont buy into the whole EA Store. Steam all the way.

Yep, if anyone hears about the Steam release let me know! I want to see a preorder, pronto. I'd have already signed up if it was available, I sure hope they're not going to wait until after the retail release, surely that wouldn't happen.

The PC demo was running on a GTX580 apparently.... man they must have cranked up the AA and then some.
