I was hoping for 32 player support on console but still better than COD. The most COD supports on consoles in 18 players for a certain mode otherwise limited to 12.

not to mention I am getting really sick of COD, no dedicated server support for console owners even from Treyarch.

BF3 should be good. Thoroughly enjoying BC2.

Do whatever you want to do man.

Hopefully this means we'll see the beta invitations soon, for those of us who bought the required games (MOH in my case). Really looking forward to this game, been holding off replacing my PC until closer to release date so I can run it properly.

The minimum requirements are:

  • Internet connection to play the game, to install and get online

  • OS: XP / Vista / Windows 7

  • CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GHz, AMD Athlon 64 X2 2 GHz or higher

  • GPU : Nvidia 8800 GT 512 MB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 3850 512 MB of RAM or better

  • 2 GB RAM

  • Hard Drive: 9 GB

  • DVD ROM: 8x

  • Audio: DirectX 9.0c compatible

  • Keyboard, Mouse or Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller for Windows

I'd like to see Crysis 2 play out on a 64 player map....  bet it won't.

Crytek should have just stuck to making the Singleplayer the best they can, and they should have learnt from Crysis:Warhead that they suck at making Multiplayer.

If you can run Bad Company 2 without any problems now, chances are you'll be ready for BF3...   seeing as it will be running on the same Frostbite engine.

Copy and pasted from EUROGAMER.NET

In October last year DICE went on the record to reassure PC gamers that their version of the game will be just as enjoyable as the console versions. Designer Alan Kerz acknowledged, "PC players have a fear that BF3 will be 'consolized'.

"PC players have their own set of requirements... Anything that feels like it might have been "ported" from a console is going to get flamed hard," he wrote. "It's a damn sight harder to please a PC player, they have higher expectations.

"Battlefield 3 needs an extra bit of special attention on the PC. I intend to give it that attention, tradition and our community demand it."

EA's forthcoming Battlefield 3 FPS will cut a destructive swathe through Paris, New York and Tehran, according to retailer information.

"In Battlefield 3, players step into the role of the elite U.S. Marines where they will experience heart-pounding single player missions and competitive multiplayer actions ranging across diverse locations from around the globe including Paris, Tehran and New York," it reads.

The listing goes on to pledge that you'll get to "watch buildings crumble and cover disappear as bullets and explosion tear through your surroundings! Even landmarks you recognise aren't safe from the destruction you'll inflict!"

We're taking that as confirmation you'll get to knock the Eiffel Tower over.

Yeah they're promising aplenty...

Ditto re:BlackOps, I'm glad I just rented the game out for my 360...  i didn't even bother with the multiplayer portion of the game.

COD has just gone all hollywood...   I mean seriously, snow mobile driving .. reloading AND excellent shooting accuracy!?

I recently purchased a few back catalog games like BIA Hell's Highway, Call Of Juarez Bound In Blood, The Saboteur and Tomb Raider Underworld...  I've had more fun playing them and the fact that I paid around 12-14bucks for them each makes it all the better!!
