Not unusual for Sony.  They did a teardown of the PS4 or PS3, same guy too.

Well there goes my plans for launch day. The boss has just added a team building day off-site up in Matakana on the 12th Nov. Leave cancelled! I'm away the following week visiting the in-laws in Te Anau. My shiny new PS5 probably won't be removed from the box for a couple of weeks after launch day now.

I can one up that. My console is getting delivered on launch day. But the Christmas elves are spiriting it away, wrapping it up, and putting it under the tree, not to be touched until December 25th.

May have to get adept at unwrapping, unboxing, re-boxing and re-wrapping. :-D

Holy moly dude. You have the self control of a saint. No chance I'd wear that. I'll be struggling to stay at work release day. It may be delivered and I'll be gone, home :)

Yeah, nah. First World problem of the highest order.

My wife told me she wanted to get me a PS5 for Christmas. She asked me to organize purchasing it as soon as pre-orders came online to ensure we could source one before Xmas. As it turns out, this was a wise decision.

It means no surprise on the day, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Mine is technically a Christmas prezzie too - but my elf is more compliant. 😁

I'd say 'changed my mind don't want that for xmas' so you can use it. Ask for a game instead 😁

Mine is also a Christmas present, Christmas 2019 as I got nothing from the wife last year! The joys of being married 20+ years.

😂 maybe save it for ya birthday?  Hopefully in a season that is more 'indoors'!  Doesn't look like there's going to be many PS5 native titles at launch anyway

Apple TV app coming to PS5 and PS4. Doesn’t say whether this will be available in NZ but hopefully it will.
