A friend of mine is getting fifa 21 with an extra contractor as we made a deal i get the console and he gets a controller and fifa

Yup found out about that a few hours ago at EB games 😔 on a second note, the other games should keep me going for a while. also no release date for Godfall i was told by EB stuff, hopefully gets released by Christmas or so

Weirdly the pc release of Godfall in NZ is November 13th. It would be weird if the console release wasn't at the same time. Maybe they just haven't been told yet? idk.

Possibly, the EB stuff said she couldn't see it in the system but i guess that could change anytime between now and November 13th

Just got a phone call from EB about congratulating me for being one of the people to get it on November 12th😁 and said to start sorting out the payments and trade ins before release for easy pick up. Apparently they're running a VIP thing for trading previous games at double the value, that is happening from November 3rd to 9th. sadly EB isn't doing midnight launch 😔

oh the guy also recommended i pre-order extra accessories and games like headset controller...etc as they're in limited quantities apparently but I'm not too fussed about that. He did say Godfall is sold out from thier store (st lukes store).

has anyone heard anything from thier shop yet?

Indeed. I remember getting a PS VR from them a few years ago and aside from the original order email, the first contact I had was when it turned up on my doorstep.

If you don’t mind relinquishing the white originals, it would be a simple matter to change the colour with a $10 can of spray paint from Bunnings. A lot cheaper than about NZ$70 for these third-party jobs where there is, as yet, no guarantee that they will fit properly.

Not quite as simple, but you could get some coloured wrap from a car wrapping place and change the panels’ colour that way - and that would be able to be taken off so that the originals aren’t wrecked.

I never had a call from them previously when I had PS3/4 pre-ordered. All my pre-orderes are click and collect. It's good to get a confirmation as the last thing I need is to miss my day one be after having been screwed by Vodafone for my iPhone 12 pro pre-order.

Hope everyone gets the day one confirmation call/email from their retail

I haven't had a call - that does sound unusual - but don't need it day uno. Don't think eb games is doing midnight opening so you have been better to go with another supplier is being first is important to ya

haha yeah but for a PS5 launch, I wouldn't mind just for this particular night as I'm very excited for next gen. Don't think it matters now anyway as EB confirmed there won't be a midnight launch, so sleeping it is 😂. waiting till 9am shouldn't be too hard

I ain't no spring chicken either and would usually agree with you, but those that don't work 9-5, late launches can be convenient

I’m sure NL won’t have given anyone a pickup date yet. I ordered early on Day 1 and certainly don’t have a pickup date confirmed.
