I think for now, something like that trailer is the best that sony can offer. there are lots of things on the PSN to download, and some of them are free
But things like Ninja Gaiden Sigma which is coming out soon, plus Virtua Fighter 5, Resistance and Ridge Racer should keep you busy.
Most of the info for all platforms is frozen under NDAs til E3 (to which I'm not going this year).
And to everybody is this thread, I'm sorry to disappoint you but the one that is getting the biggest share of the market right now is Nintendo with the Wii and the DS.
Probably not in NZ (I will never understand why is the only country where sony is always number 1), but Nintendo has been doing very well in the last 6 - 18 months globally.
E3 still exists in a different fashion. No big show anymore. It is held in a smaller venue in Santa Monica now. And it is an invitation only event. You will still have the conferences from all the big companies like every other year.
you mean from the expo itself? I think it is the other way around. Millions of dollars were spent on the "show", the stand and trying to be better than their competitors. The new expo is trying to focus on developers/publishers and "real" press.
