JimmyC: Bought Bio Shock Infinite yesterday. I hear that had a good story line.

didnt like that, gameplay with controller wasnt that great.   ill give it another go later though.

cant think of any first person games I really liked, thats what makes me unsure of dishonoured.  skyrim i liked, but played that in 3rd person (and never finished as I lost interest in the main story)

Dishonoured did nothing for me, I tried to start it 3 times, maybe it's one of those games you need to play for 5-10 hours before it's interesting or "clear"

how did you guys do in the sale?

my credit card is now USD$300 sadder.

i came away with 60 games and a few DLC.

highlights for me where

Best game I picked up though was a surprising "Rogue Legacy" very fun platformer, was playing this most weekend with my son (taking turns, passing controller like we use to do in the sega master system days).

I also had to buy a 4TB hard drive to fit the games :)   and I'm so glad snap is on unlimited internet now :D

Welcome to the world of PC gaming and Steam sales. I can almost guarentee you'll still have a heap of these games unplayed by the time of the next sale, yet, you'll happenly buy a whole bunch more.

I really regret not buying the Valve Complete Pack for $34. Now it's $50 and I don't want to pay that price.

I'm very pleasantly surprised with it. Probably about 3/4's of the way through now, and really enjoying the story and the interaction with Elizabeth. She's actually a helpful companion, never gets in the way, and brings you stuff when you most need it. I could never do intense firefights with a controller anyway, so the PC version is very cool.

I was tempted, but scanning through the games realised I already owned all of them already except for L4D2.  :D
