PSlover14:

I'm aware this is an old post, but just looking at a recent steam purchase I made, it appears they just take 15% out of the price, so its the same price as before.

So they're giving you a 15% discount and then you're donating it to the people of NZ to help run the country.

Well done that man!

You could talk to your MP to get a new tax created to pay for it. Not me though, my motorways are fine. Then talk to your MP as the toll charges are now too high. Like us, local Govt cannot buy what they want when they want. They don't get no deposit for 5 year deals.

Not sure on the sarcasm level of this post, but I wasn't only referring to road, there are hospitals, schools, parks etc. Your motorway may be fine now but it takes money to keep them that way too.

No sarcasm, and it wasnt your post. The poster was talking about local road traffic. The tax fund isnt bottomless, and if a toll was set, then still complaints. This country, and probably many if not all, cannot afford full time infrastructure changes, much as they are deserved. Whether its Govt, or down to the kid with a paper round, we can't afford everything we want right now

In that I whole-heartedly agree with you.
