Warehouse is guaranteeing that they have the lowest retail price in NZ so they may be worth a look

Hmmm id bet that somewhere in there is a disclaimer stating that online retailers dont count or something.

Still id expect it at like $109.99 or something at the warewhare!

They are turning into a serious option for gamers with their "cheap and cheerful" ethos.

Usually i like EB but in this situation i dont!!! They are massively overpriced!

I have moved across the ditch. Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.

Don't think so! Original Modern Warfare is still selling for $90 last time I was in Dick Smith.

I ended up cancelling(i hope) the prestidge edition, decided in the end I wasn't going to bother with it...plus my brother ordered it, so I'll be stealing his night vision goggles very soon to have some fun with

Just finished the game, took me about 6 hours on normal difficulty. Completely blown away! Easily best Call of Duty game yet. Looking forward to some online action tomorrow :)

Oh, I wanted to cancel it because I found out my brotehr was getting prestidge edition as well, plus I wanted to play it immediately.

Just found out today the order has shipped :( gutted, guess that means I've got two COD MW2 games now....although I might try the LAN play and maybe give it to a mate for his PS3

Be good to see what the bluetooth headset is like(assuming CDwow have sent that too)

Also i'll test out LAN play with my two PS3s here and a few people at a BBQ in my place in a few weeks, should be fun times

anyone used www.play-asia.com?

Seems pretty cheap, but some games seem to be region protected? Wont make a diff to the ps3 id guess. However, if i want to get DLC ill need to make like...a US playstation network account name, log in, get DLC and then log back into my usual ID?????

I've ordered things from time to time from them - no problems.

As for using US games - yes you'll need to make a US account, so you need to make up a US street address when doing it. If you want to pay for the DLC you'll need to buy US PSN vouchers (ebay?) or sign up to a virtual credit card facility like www.entropay.com, because they check your credit card to make sure you're living in the US. Entropay doesn't disclose addresses so it seems to work - at least it does for me. I think at some point there was a problem signing up with Entropay cards but existing cards worked - that may have been resolved now, I don't know.

It's a bit of hassle, but the bonus is that you can sometimes get PSN games a lot earlier - and sometimes a lot cheaper.

I just finished the campaign mode about 30 minutes ago, I was very surprised at how short the campaign was. I guess thats why they added the special ops part to the game. Slightly weak story line but what can you expect from a fps game.

I got the regular edition yesterday afternoon. Instead of having to "pre-order" the game a lady at DSE put one "under the counter" instead. At DSE, if you pre-ordered the game it was $149 (rip??) but i saved $35 by not pre-ordering it. WooHoo!
