chiefie: You will need to register for Steam account, and I think the Steam code for PC/Mac is tied to your PS3, as it's one and same, you can't play on PS3 and on PC at the same time..

I could be wrong, it could just be a game voucher but I won't imagine Valve go all the way with brining SteamWorks for PS3 and not making it single same "game" across multiple platform.

Video below on how to redeem, sounds like it still uses a code for PC/Mac. With a bit of mucking around using different PS3 profiles you might be able to activate the code on a mates steam account.

I just got Portal 2 for the PS3 this morning and you have to have portal 2 on the PS3 linked to your steam account before you can use the key which comes with the game.

Well.. that was ... interesting.. finished all the single player mode on the PS3.
The game was great but a little disappointed in how easy it was..

Now to wait for the PSN network to reboot itself so I can play multiplayer.

Same... less than 9 hours and I've finished single player. Guess the wife will be happy to have me back!

Anyone found any new maps online yet? Will be great once the modding community makes some additional maps like with Portal 1.

Anyone keen to get into the multiplayer, hit me up on Steam, I'm optimuslime232

So Valve apparently released the first free Portal 2 DLC a few day ago, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to download/update/play it.

Has anyone had any success with getting the new Portal 2 DLC?

Awesome news! Thanks for the heads up, I'd been waiting for this but missed then news. If you have Steam it should have auto updated, just go into your game and look for it. Under Co-Op there seems to be some new levels, I haven't check out Single Player but I think they were putting some new ones in there too.

The new DLC gets automatically downloaded (unless you have this turned off globally) and includes a few new co-op levels.

They're an enjoyable difficulty.

There are also challenge modes and such enabled for pretty much the whole game single and multiplayer that allow you to compare versus the community.
