What's the most offensive anyone has seen the ps5 go for on trademe?

I just saw someone offer $1700! 😳😡

LeatheryHawkeye:

I'm so sorry you haven't received some inconsequential accessory! I hope you are ok?  When there's many on here without a console at all it kind of reeks of poor taste and judgement.
I realise this may be frustrating for you, but perhaps think of how it might be received before smashing your keyboard in a sulk!

@networkn - Possible Wheaton award nomination for 2020? 🤣

Any complaint in this freaking thread is by definition a first world problem. I didn't claim it wasn't, but am I only allowed to complain about those things which are deemed by your royal highness to meet your threshold?

It is not an inconsequential accessory to *me* as I use my PSVR a lot and I am very keen to see how performance of my VR games is with my new console.

It does nothing to detract from anyone elses issues either, and I have expressed sympathy to those who may have missed out, not to mention trying to pair those who missed out, with those who have expressed interest in selling.

How about not being a dick?

It appears most people are empathetic to others! You've decided to go a different route! Still think the console might be more consequential than a niche accessory though 😅

My original statement is still valid. Think of others as a take-home in case you're wondering. Or is that another phrase you hate.

Not responding to the name calling.

Have a good weekend with your console mate! Hope your critical peripheral thingy turns up tomorrow.

PS5 all set up and a few games queued to be downloaded.

Now have to wait for 3-5 hours until all the games download.

What am I suppose to do for the next 5 hours..... actually do some work?

The warehouse sent them out with "signature not required".
So not sure who's fault that would be...

So cheeky right. Pretty weak for such an expensive and sought after item to default to "signature not required". I contacted the Warehouse and they're refusing to amend the order and asked me to contact the courier once tracking is available...

Mine was just delivered. Massive kudos to our courier driver who was flexible in rescheduling for same day, though no signature was requested despite staying clearly it was required.

Have set VPN DNS settings for dns4me but looks like there’s no PS5 apps for BBC iPlayer and ITV Hub as yet. I guess that’s hardly surprising - but I thought maybe the PS4 apps might do the trick.

Edit: Just found this - looks like no such apps until 2021:

Unfortunate that you hadn’t told her you’d ordered one. 😁

She was well aware it was incoming. Anyway, I've filed a complaint through the NZ Courier Post website and provided feedback to Mighty Ape that I'm not too impressed by it.

Apparently this is my signature

Heya, I have a launch ps5 available in Tauranga / Mount Maunganui. Due to moving house, changing jobs, and some summer travel I won't be able to use it much until late January, so I figure it would bring more joy to someone else.

I can't really be bothered shipping etc, but if anyone knows someone in this region who can pickup let me know.

Selling for rrp. No scalping. But please don't buy it and sell it on as that is a dick move.

Got everything set up this evening.

Played a little of Astros Playroom to get to know the new controller. Wow! The Dual Sense is quite something with the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Really brings something new to the experience.

I couldn’t help myself. I wasn’t planning on picking up any next gen titles while I work my way through a PS4 backlog but I went ahead a bought Miles Morales. Enjoying it so far.

Man this thing is huge. My house resembles the leaning tower of pisa since they airlifted it in after removing the roof on my house. Original designs are even bigger apparently but they were worried if they stored too many in one place the earth would tip off its axis!

Really pleasantly surprised that the Warehouse had mine ready to go at 830 this am. Given the PS5 had sold out everywhere else, I figured it might be a bit of a punt ordering from the Warehouse online the day after the online presale launch, as I thought they probably had no consoles left but hadn't updated their website in time.

When I picked up my order, the checkout assistant said she'd had 22 online ps5 orders picked up over the course of the day.

Well done red shed!

I skipped the PS4 generation (in fact this is the first PS I've actually bought - previously PC / Nintendo / emulation only. So - lot's of back catalog of PS4 games to work through now :)
