I had a est. jan 20th too, it turned up on Sunday via mainfreight. It’s put together now and quite nice to sit in. Still not sure about how to get the extended warranty if I don’t use socials much. Does geekzone count? :D

i posted my picture on IG (had to make my account public), got approved yesterday and made my account private again.

I would also challenge the way they do their warranty and that the CGA would still cover you for that extra couple of years no problem. as its not like you posting a picture is suddenly going to make a chair last longer.

I also ordered a Titan 2020, Softweave, Charcoal Blue, based solely on reviews and I was very pleased to have it delivered yesterday instead of the expected mid January time frame.

It was certainly a nice, high quality, experience when assembling the product and the various adjustment options are far superior to any of our old chairs.

First impressions are great but I was surprised at the firmness of the foam after having a softer chair for many years at my desk. However, after several hours in it with the excellent lumbar support, I think it will be a great long term solution.

I do have some serious off-gassing emitting from the chair, which can be quite overpowering, in its newly unpacked state. I might have to throw it outside in a warm breeze for several hours to see if it makes it less irritating in my office :)

Hi Secret Lab owners!

So I have a decision to make. Spend a huge amount that I am fairly confident I won’t regret, but will be painful nonetheless and buy a Herman Miller Aeron ($2k or so) or buy a Secret Lab Titan XL fabric and roll the dice a little...

For those of you that bought one this year, are you still happy with it? Any quality or comfort issues?

Aside from overall quality/longevity, this is probably my biggest concern. How are you finding it now?

I've had mine nearly a year now and it's still great comfort-wise.

I had an issue on my Titan arm where the PU coating split along the piece where it curves around. I sent in a couple of photos and they replaced the part. It was relatively painless, although they did try to say it was wear and tear, even though it was clearly on a spot that isn't leant on. They made it sound like they were doing me a favor rather than fixing a quality issue. In saying that, I've seen the same type of split happen on many other chair arms over the years simply from the curve the material is forced in to.

This is what they sent:

Based on the image that you have provided, this is a result of wear that is not covered under the warranty.

Though this is not covered under the warranty, I understand that this is the first time that this had occurred and I will be able to extend an exception and arrange for your armrest PU portion to be replaced for you at no cost.

Please do provide me with your full shipping address for me to make the necessary shipping arrangements for you.

I would have expected a bit better from a company trying to position themselves as a premium brand, but most customer service is pretty crap these days regardless of where you shop and they did replace it.

Thats the spec I am looking at and I am very slightly shorter and a little fatter, so it sounded about right!

It still surprises me, even today, how firm the seat and back foam is on these chairs.

It's not 'uncomfortable' as such and my back is not complaining because of the good lumbar support but most other office chairs that I have tried are certainly much softer than the Titan.

Well I ended up ordering one - indeed I am sat in it now!

So far very pleased with it and yes, whilst it is firm, it is pleasingly so to my tastes.

Time will tell if it is well made and long lasting I guess...
