I think my biggest peeve has been the requirement to advertise on their behalf (or pay $50) in order to extend the warranty from 3-5 years.
I - reluctantly - spammed my twitter feed in order qualify, but it annoyed me.

I refused to do this, as far as I'm concerned the CGA is valid for just as long as the Warranty and there shouldn't be a need to advertise on their behalf to be covered for the same length of time.

You are probably right here, but I figured it would be easier to make a claim under an official warranty rather than through the CGA, so I sucked it up on this occasion...
Does anybody know if you can use $25 discount code with the ongoing Stay at home sale?
enter it and see at checkout?
It looks like a no :)
Timely finding this thread as I've been contemplating replacing my aging second hand generic office chair at home especially since I now WFH 3 days a week.
Seems the masses are overwhelmingly in favour of the SecretLabs chairs. Just checked their site and they've got a mid year sale on. $35 off, which isn't much, but, hey, sale. :-)
I have two kittens, so I'm going to guess that the Softweave fabric would be the better option rather than them shredding the "leather". For myself, I think I prefer not-leather in general anyway.
Looking at the Titan in Charcoal Blue.
I have the Secretlabs softweave and we have two cats.
Can confirm that they very much enjoy jumping up and clinging to the back of the chair with their claws, perching atop the chair in loaf mode and when I'm not in it, sleeping spread-eagled across the bumseat.
The latter so much so that I now have to consciously check every time that there's not a sleeping cat there when I spin it round to sit down.
So yeah the cats love it - so your concern about them probably shredding the leather version is well founded imo.

One of mine parks herself on my current chair within milliseconds of me vacating it. Or parks on my lap while I'm on it. So I have no doubt she'll continue to claim it as her own.
One of my cats loves my Secretlab chairs. I still have my old office chair for him to sleep on because of this problem.
Still not a mark on it. Still loving it.

Titan chair turned up last week. Other than a small whoops with Mainfreight delivering the wrong box and having to be called 5 minutes down the road to come back and swap with the right one, it was a straightforward experience of taking it from box to usable. The massive instruction sheet is very clear to follow.
One kitten was straight into investigating and quickly decided that it would do as a replacement for the previous sleeping spot, the other one was "What the heck is THAT?". But after seeing his sister didn't get eaten by it, was more confident to investigate it.
When I got a turn, like others have noted, the firm foam is an interesting experience at first but I liken it to a stiffer version of memory foam that is more comfortable than you'd first think.
I have to consciously remind myself to sit properly, but that's a me thing, not a chair thing. The chair is immediately comfortable and is good for lengthy sessions at the pc, either working or gaming.
Safe to say, I think the investment in my body health is worth it.
Thanks team for the recommendations and pre-purchase feedback. :-)
End of financial year specials looked to have been the right time to buy this year.
Was 640ish? for Softweave. Now up to $699.
2022 models up for pre-order. Now with replacement magnet arm rest tops. One way to attack the comments that the rests die or break down fast I guess. No 3-piece base seat for the smaller sizes.
Grabbed myself one of the new Secret Lab Titan Evo's just before lockdown started. Has proven to be a really good decision and a lot of the normal aches and pains I had at the end of the day from my old Warehouse stationary chair just don't exist anymore.
If anyone wants a discount code feel free to use http://secretlabnz.refr.cc/83yRZjF9 ...I think it gives you $25 off. Even if you can't get a discount I would still recommend one of these bad boys. So far it's def some of the best money I've spent.
