xpd:
Pretty sure it was there, because I remember mentioning to my wife that its amusing theyre offering something thats not guaranteed to be out this year. (This was before the latest release date).
But gone from the site.... so they must have gone "oops".
mrphil:Stopped in at EB Games today and was told $676 for GT5 bundle with 320GB box. Same for PlayTV bundle. He didn't look at any price lists or anything but was pretty confident when he said the prices so i could assume this is accurate. JB won't release their price until Wednesday night but their bundle comes with a GT5 branded box so will probably be more expensive. *shrug*Disrespective: Went into a few stores today and they all said they'd have PS3+GT5 bundles by Thursday. Pricing was unknown but would be out by Wednesday.
I'm sorely tempted to take the plunge on a 320GB box with GT5. Maybe even a playTV might find its way into my stocking if i'm lucky.
my guess would be 320GB PS3 with GT5 for $699 (same deal with black ops) saving about $110 (which is the game)
or
playtv bundle, 320GB PS3 with playtv for $729
once again a 320GB PS3 is $699 but playtv is $199, so you save about $169 with this bundle
i'm waiting till next month and see what xmas deals they will be doing :)

dclegg: Does anyone recall seeing GT5 in the latest FlyBuys catalogue? I was pretty sure I saw it there, as I recall making a comment to my wife about having a game in there that had no firm release date (this was prior to the Nov 24/25 announcements). I went to the rewards website to see how many points it would set me back, but its not showing up. I'm hoping it will be there on or shortly after the 25th, but if anyone has the latest catalogue, can you please a) confirm its there and b) tell me how many points it will set me back?
xpd: Eh ?
$104 - $1 (cash reward) = $73.00 total.... how do they work that out ?
dclegg:
I emailed customer service to ask if/when it will be available for ordering as a reward. I'll post back here once I get a reply.
FlyBuys:
Please be advised that our suppliers are currently out of stock of this reward due to popularity.
However, they have advised us that they are expecting more stock to arrive in mid December.
The reward will be available for redemption online as soon as this stock has arrived.

Considering the game hasn't been released yet, I wonder if this REALLY means that it will be made available for ordering on or slightly after the launch date.

Mighty Ape are bloody legends when it comes to customer service. I've reached out to them a few times and they've always come through for me (the last time was to help me secure a highly sought after collectors edition that was sold out elsewhere, including being listed as so on their website).
