invisibleman18: It's arrived! So what's the cheapest anyone has managed to get a 2nd controller for? $99 at Noel Learning currently the lowest price I can see.

Take a gander tat ps4 dualshock historical prrices on pricespy, you’ll find that they maybe drop down to $79.99 on sale occasionally but will keep their $100 pricetag for a while.

I managed to get an order in this morning for one - impulse decision, we'll see if The Warehouse sends me one or cancels my order.

Noel Leeming apparently have stock of the disc version currently or are at least accepting online orders, so better get in quick!

EDIT: Now presented with the opportunity, I'm frozen by my adult responsiblity and inability to spend money knowing I have other things I need to prioritise.

*sigh*

Yeah only lasted about 10 minutes I think.

It's certainly a unit compared to the PS3 and PS4. Picked a good day to "work from home." It's just transferring from PS4 at the moment though so not got into a game yet.

Are there any updates regarding expected stock? Emailed MightyApe but got nothing in terms of an ETA.

Picking mine up at The Warehouse now. Pleasantly surprised.

Still struggling to actually get any retailer to tell me when they have stock. NL emailed me to say they had run out without ever emailing me to tell me they were getting some.

I think you don't honestly. I feel retailers just don't want to go down that path of providing any information as it will cause disappointment when somebody knows but still can't get it. Better to just release them sporadically without notice.

What I don't get is why we can't just place a pre-order with a "when it arrives, you'll get it" clause. It's frustrating not being able to secure a unit unless you happen to be browsing a retail website at the exact minute they go on (and subsequently off) sale.

Surely retailers would prefer to lock in an order now and then just ship out each unit as it arrives to their distribution centre?
