Yay, wife just called to say shes off to Mightyape now :D So it will be waiting for me when I get home. Then the joys of installing it..... Xbox owners, how long did it take ? :) Or are you still loading after picking up at midnight ? ;)

From what I remember Catch of the day is an aussie bulk drop shipper. They seem legit but I don't think they'll do warranties longer than they have the product in stock.

Gave it a couple of hours tonight, hardly scratched the surface. It's gorgeous, the voice acting is exceptional, as are the character models. This game is going to require some serious alone time!

The free Companion App looks to be excellent - shows HUD, map, jourrnal etc on your device. Just downloaded it to my iPad and haven’t actually used in conjunction with game yet but it looks great. Within the app you can download the free 32-page Game Manual.

You can also download an interactive soft-copy of the entire 384-page Official Game Guide published by Piggyback Guides - for NZ$14.99. As mentioned earlier in this thread, some weeks ago I ordered the hard-back version of the guide from Amazon at about NZ$65 delivered, which wasn’t going to arrive until about 25 November - even on the second-fastest courier plan. When Amazon finally advised me of the delivery date yesterday, I thought “too long, too expensive” and cancelled it. Then saw the soft-copy was available via the app - happy days, no-brainer.

Can anyone help me regarding mission selection? In many games like FO4 and Witcher 3, you can switch which mission you’re working on - and come back later to a temporarily-abandoned mission to complete it.

Can this be done in RDR2 or am I stuck with the mission that’s currently running? I can see that you can go back and re-do missions if you’re not happy with your score - but what about switching missions currently open but not yet completed?

Hopefully I have missed something here but I can’t see a list of currently-live missions.

Oops....

Was out hunting for deer and accidentally killed a wild horse with my bow - thought it was a deer from a distance. Felt terrible. First rule of hunting - identity your target.

Then when I shot a deer, it was running around wounded with two arrows sticking out of it - because of my poor aiming. Then it stopped running and my hunting tutor made me put it out of its misery with my knife.

hahaha yeah I stabbed a guy when I thought I was just going to punch him. I feel like the frame rate is dropping slightly on PS4 Pro which is why I asked what console. Does it feel smooth on XBO? Is it the X?

It seems smooth on my PS pro, but the graphics are quite nasty in parts - can see blockies on the edges of things and weird frame blending like stuff happening. Supposed to be 4k isnt it? Most of it looks 1080 with bodges. Cinematic cam also seems to do some weird blur filtering which makes it hard to watch but its nice how you dont have to steer the horse in it.

Only had 2 bethesta grade messups so far, lenny was reading, but the book was missing, and there were some cans floating in mid air by the food cart.
