I just went and collected mine. They've obviously had a few today as when they looked up my order number they said "oh... you're one of those".

Not a complaint, as I know I'm lucky to have managed to get one... but the form factor is even more ridiculous in person!

I got mine yesterday and have been playing Astro's Playroom. The controller haptics / adaptive triggers are amazing. Total game changer imo.

Very interesting that a large majority of the last round of PS5's new into stores have ended up on Trademe. Last week I looked every 2nd day at console listings

Thursday 28th Jan to Wednesday 3rd there were 22 consoles listed for sale

Today there are 93 listed

Panasonic 65GZ1000, Onkyo RZ730, Atmos 5.1.2, AppleTV 4K, Nest Mini's, PS5, PS3, MacbookPro, iPad Pro, Apple watch SE2, iPhone 15+

I just don't understand peoples willingness to pay more than RRP rather than just wait a bit longer.

Good to see Crash Bandicoot 4 can be upgraded from PS4 to PS5 version free. I bought it initially when I missed out on a PS5 but haven't got around to playing yet other than a quick jam on the multiplayer time trial mode with a couple of friends. So pleased to see I'll be able to upgrade to the PS5 version.

Received the camera adapter this morning at work. Post mark on it says it was shipped on November 23 from Germany, nice to see it finally made its way to my desk!

My replacement plates arrived from dbrand today. They're really great quality and it makes a huge difference to the look of the PS5 in my shelf. I wish this was an optional sku instead of the default white!

I know I’m in the minority but I quite like the white face plates. I guess the good thing unless Sony crack down on the 3rd party scene there are options for everyone.
