Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is keeping me busy and probably will for a very long time to come...
networkn:
you'll be pretty happy to see a new God of War Game.
Understatement. Looks outrageously good. More of the same but better, what could go wrong? (nobody mention CDPR)
Also keen on Alan Wake Remastered, and the KOTOR remake. I can hardly remember that game from when I played it on my first Xbox. This will be an all new experience for me.
Looking forward to Far Cry 6 next month - looks as if it will be great.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
Geektastic: Re Desperados 3.
Can you recover further back than the 3 saves shown on the load screen on PS5? I messed up and all three are unrecoverable situations.
I don't really want to spend another 45 minutes to get to this point again!
I don't have it loaded now, but what happens if you go back to the main screen and click load?
Beyond that, I don't think so.
I finished it last night and ordered the season pass. Easily game of the year for me. It was fantastic, if not slightly frustrating. In the final part of the final mission I did end up watching the first take down to get me started, but after that I did the whole thing myself, it was very satisfying. Pity the story was a bit bland.
Still playing forza 4 too. Waiting on a sale for the ultimate addons $70 is a bit of a rip.

I get the same three choices. Unfortunately in my panic not to get shot I ended up saving three reloads during which I am actually getting shot...!
I imagined it kept every save per level but it seems not.

I had the same problem a couple of times - unfortunately there’s only three saves.

Deathloop (PS5 and PC) is a game that seems to have sneaked up on me - released a couple of days ago. Didn't hear it coming and looks like a beaut - has rated pretty well with the genuine reviewers on Metacritic. It showcases the capabilities of the PS5 and has an interesting and different approach to gameplay. It's now on my list.
$120 to download from Sony or $95 for the disc at JB - go figure that.

Finished the main story and nearly finished completing the Challenges in Desperados 3. Was going to get Deathloop next but just saw Death Stranding: Director's Cut for PS5 releases tomorrow - and MA have it at a good price, free delivery and shipping today. Done.

I just finished Gears Tactics on Game Pass. It was fun although the optional missions (where you choose 2 of three types of missions) got quite repetitive. I'd be keen to play a sequel.
Just waiting on Diablo 2
Spent an hour on Diablo 3 went up a couple of levels and it kind of reminded me why I got bored. There was no "need to get up to this level to unlock this skill" it was just move button mash, move.
I want to get invested in my characters.
Just played an hour or so of Diablo 2 resurrected on the xbox x
The game itself seems to have aged really well and with the new graphics I can see myself wasting way too much time on it. For starters it is way harder than diablo 3. Have already died half a dozen times.
Starting with a Summoner Necromancer and might do a werebear next.
Desperate for some new PS5 content I grabbed Kena Bridge of Spirits. Only $65. It's not for me unfortunately, but I'll give it a while longer to see if it clicks.
Have received Death Stranding - Director's Cut and played the intro and literally only the first couple of minutes.
I have a preconception that this game is very different to many other games, so before going further I have been reading 'how to get started' stuff online - mainly a very good intro and guide by Polygon.
Man, the game seems incredibly complicated - but in a good way that appeals rather than scaring me.
I don't remember seeing a lot of comment in this thread about the initial 2019 version of the game but I would be grateful to see comments from people who have spent time with it.
