Managed to get online and have a sustained go. Played some quick jobs, just with the same people. Played about 5 or 6. Managed to put the headset I got last week to actual use. Played with a dude from Sweden had a chat to him. He wanted to join a crew so i invited him to the knights of the realm.
I got on tonight as well, met up with a friend completely by chance. Might have seen a KOTR crew member on the map as well right before I logged off. Unfortunately still riddled with bugs, I think I might press on with the story before I jump on again and then hopefully all the bugs have been addressed.
Oh man, after finally getting a friend linked to my crew (that took days to organise lol) we eventually needed up in a game together, then when we quit to do missions, it dumped me into a different game world without him. lol. They have made it super easy to just join and play online, got into a bit of a melee killing spree, us vs everyone kinda thing, taking out as many other players as possible just running around the maps. Eventually gave up trying to do anything meaningful in the game online with my mate.
Overall feeling: It was cool, kinda. Hated the fact it felt like such an ordeal just to get in the online world together. Like the idea we can roam around together, headset did not work for some reason, and other peoples were super annoying, with loads of static noise coming through all the time. Found finding features and events and stuff difficult to locate in the pause menu most of the time. Like the idea you get different style multi games after completing one multigame. Did not like the fact you do a co-op mission, and then when finished, appeared to then show 2 team vs multigame options again. Would have preffered it to show other missions to continue doing co-op together.
Almost finished main story, 1 or 2 missions to go and then thats all done. After 2 weeks of almost solid GTA5 action, I am starting to feel a bit GTA'd out. Need to take a nature walk and turn into a tree for while perhaps. Ahh silence.
JarrodM: Just got 100% completion. took me a good few hours to get all spaceship parts and letter scraps. worth it though.
What do you get for finding those things? So far I think I've only come across two letter scraps.
it unlocks 2 strangers and freaks missions needed to attain 100% completion, other than that you get a trophy/achievement for both. if you're joined up to the social club go to the website and it has a checklist of the stuff you need to do to get 100% and on that page is also a map with all the locations, no way I would of found them all without it. also to get 100% you need to do 25/50 jumps and bridge fly unders (25 of each) and 8/15 of the knife flights (I used a youtube walkthrough to find the locations for these)

oh man, I just read that as 'knife fights' and thought "sweet, they have fight club style locations where you can go to participate in melee knife fights." quite dissapointing to learn it was knife fLights, which I have already done. :P
