Sea of Thieves.
Forza Horizon 5.
Tropico 5.
I finished It Takes Two with my wife the other night. Not a great story, highly annoying in fact, but the gameplay was fun and engaging, and pretty challenging. It was the first game my wife and I played together, so that was a bonus too. Now we are back into Lego Harry Potter. Have to keep up the momentum!
Just finished Ratchet & Clank PS5, RE: Village. Have Demon's Souls which is a bit too tricky for me having just come into PS5/console gaming from PC, so going to Ghost of Tsuhima. PC wise, Frostpunk and (of all things), a heavily modded Skyrim.
Recently finished Far Cry 6 after 2-3 months game time. Totally loved it and in my usual OCD approach to wring everything out of games I like, I effectively got 100% completion.
Next up was Disco Elysium which I hate as much as I love FC6. Bad choice - should have looked into it more before buying. Not my cuppa at all so I’m abandoning it after just a few hours.
Now just starting Borderlands 3, for which I have high hopes. There’s a lot of people who love it - not least those who were excited about it in a thread here on GZ a couple of years ago. There’s a free PS5 upgrade which looks quite stunning in gameplay videos on YT.
B3 seems a bargain at $24 from JB - still $109 to download from Sony - go figure.

Yup, BL3 is great fun as co-operative play too.
I have been playing Halo Infinite Multiplayer with my friend. It's good fun most of the time, except it feels like lots of server-side issues lately. Whilst ranking does sort of help with getting paired against much better players, it's not a magic fix. There are still times where we might end up getting totally dominated by 2/3 or more. The reality is, we play a few hours a week, we aren't going to be able to compete with kids who can spend hours every day playing.
As is often the way with me, I picked up Kena again last night and found it much more enjoyable than the first time I tried it. I'll work my way through that until the new Horizon arrives, for which I'm champing at the bit!
@networkn I’ve never played online or multiplayer games - probably because, as an old fart gamer, I don’t feel confident enough to keep up with young guns. I really like to play at my own pace - for that reason I often dislike timed missions in games.
Having said that, I genuinely believe that my twitch skills have improved hugely over the past couple of years due to massively increased gaming time during lockdown. When I played Ghost of Tsushima I ended up being able to pull off combat control combos that I would not have believed I could do a few years earlier.

I only play very rarely online. Most of my online gaming is done co-op with a friend, and usually only Borderlands, I can't be bothered being slaughtered and insulted and being yelled at by kids, though Halo Infinite seems to do an OK job pairing you up with people close to your own skills.
Where you tend to get smashed now, are organized teams who have strats to win that if you play teamed up with random strangers, you don't get.

Haha reminds me of last week when I had no friends online and I joined a public racing lobby in wreckfest. Got my fastest car tuned up for the road circuit that was chosen. Take off well moving to the inside of the corner for the racing line, spun round by the guy behind me and smashed by about 6 cars following then driven into the wall and wrecked on the first corner.
Gotta love arcade racers

Dayam, even on Steam BL3 is $99.95. Definitely pays to shop around.

Just saw this:
Looks to have more characters and NPCs than its predecessor which was more of a solo effort. Should be great.

That story trailer is chefs kiss

Stick with it beyond the first couple hours, until you get off planet and to the first new planet, it's tedious as all hell. But it picks up after that
