Any ideas why my xbox 360 may have started opening and closing all by itself...including when a dvd/game is playing.

Cheers

I have heard of that happening before. It has a capacitive open/close button, so that could be faulty. If it is still under warrenty contact microsoft. ALso check the button isn't close to anything else.

Check to see is there something stuck in the drive. Happened to me before and caused the disk tray to open and close by itself.
