My ps3 game NBA 2k12 keeps freezing in one screen it says getting Nike ID then it freezes every time and the game is nearly brand new what do I do???

Do you need to play online? If not then pull your Ethernet cable out, sounds like it may be having trouble with a Nike server or something.
