Saw the app is now available in the PS3 store. Installed it and it looks good.

Smartphone compatible too.

Yes I have used it at the beginning of last week. It was not available on the NZ Store so installed via the user who was associated with the US Location/Store and it turned up on the main NZ Account when I switched accounts.

The Interface is really nice and the quality is good as well. I used to use the appletv to pay youtube videos but the PS3 interface is just a lot nicer. I suggest anyone who is not just playing games to get a PS3 BT remote as well.

If you have a mobile Device (say iPhone) you can control the playing of the videos via it and the integration works well.

I have a US,NZ,HK and UK users as the content available is never the same on the locations and normally you can install something from the US Store and then play it on the Main NZ Account.

So.... Is it available officially for NZ users? :-)

works pretty well, and I like the GUI

However, one MAJOR flaw (for me) is this:

It does not work with my Sony Bravia TV remote control. I can control anything else on my PS3 using my TV remote which is very convenient, but for some reason this app does not work with it

Brilliant, thanks for letting us know. Wonder what the delay was. Do you have any other apps you recommend? I struggle to find useful / free stuff.

Does not look like it. But it should appear shortly

I'm using the following:

Youtube
Vudu
Hulu+
Netflix
BBC iplayer
vidzone
Amazon video

Quickflix and TVNZ on demand also works, but I have not used it much on the PS3 due to the poor picture quality. But it works.
