This is a bit of a warning to those who haven't updated their PS3 to the latest 4.3 release that if/when you do it, there will be a link to Singstar in your downloaded games section which cannot be removed.

A bit of discussion here. I'm sure it'll be on most game sites shortly.

My OCD got a little carried away when in the heat of the moment I realised I couldn't get rid of the link to the game.

I like things to be where they are for a reason and now my downloaded games list looks like i'd rather play singstar than Journey, The Unfinished Swan, Borderlands et al.

I'm not angry, just disgruntled.

PlayStation Plus will be your solution, automatic update in the background...

I may consider getting it, only when I have a secondary PS3 to sync save games.

Internet is my backyard...
