Hi,

We have bought the kids an xbox for Xmas and looking to buy some games off Amazon e.g. This.  A quick google search says some games are region locked and some aren't.  Does anyone know how to tell when buying off amazon?

Thanks

Basically you'll be looking for either PAL/NTSC/Region Free (RF). New Zealand is in the PAL category and obviously RF will also work.

Looking at that page I can't see anything that tells you which region it is. Might have to contact amazon and ask.

i suggest www.nzgameshop.com

has been discussed on this forum before, lots of people here recommend, ive used about 10 times, many people I know have used them many times. very cheap and good store. better prices than most NZ stores (except sometimes the odd special here and there)

I also suggest www.play-asia.com. They specify the regions and they're cheap, and reliable.

I agree with the above sites. Buying from the US will probably result in getting an NTSC version which won't work.
