Has anybody played this game? I quite like the idea of buying the toys and putting them on the portal type thing and bringing them to life. I know this is probably aimed more at kids, but looks like it could be fun.

Thoughts?

My kids are crazy on this game. They are 9 and 11. That was all that they wanted for Christmas!
It is a pretty cool concept but I think the vendors are on to a licence to print money. At $20 per figure it is costing me a fortune!

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Yeah Dick Smith has 30% off Skylanders so thought I might get in on the action while they are cheaper.

Have you played it yourself? Did you like it?
