Hi There!

What do you guys use for game reviews? I have used gamespot for years, and paid for the premier service which they have discontinued. Their reviews were quite slow coming and the community has become less active, though I do like the quality of the reviews (video) and the fact they are available to download rather than steam, in a variety of formats and resolutions.

I used to use gamespot (and a few others I forget off the top of my head) but these days I just hit metacritic and get a feel from there.

Ben "yahtzee" Croshaw's "Zero Punctuation" videos are also worth a laugh. He has a very unique manner of game review!

Beware though - very much R18 in terms of his language!

Yah I do already watch his stuff, recently it's been pretty rung out though, I think he is out of ideas.

rock paper shotgun is by far the best for PC gaming opinion - or at least their opinion on games seems to be closest to mine. www.rockpapershotgun.com

For console - giantbomb.com or eurogamer.com

I third Metacritic.
I'm suspicious of most professional video-game journalists, as I think some are 'encouraged' by devs to give better reviews than they should.
I've bought games which were just plain shockers, but had glowing reviews D:

www.gametrailers.com is good I just found it, I enjoyed both the Crysis 3 and Revengance review.
