Hi all,

I am currently in process of investigating installing Rogero CFW on mt PS3.
I have come across some contradictory info and thought I might find an answer here.

Firstly, the specs;
PS3 (obviously)
Model: CECH - 2502B
Date code: "OC"
Firmware: v4.40

I have come across a few guides that range from complex to simple but claim the same result, first is that I need a flasher to downgrade to v3.55 to allow me to then install CFW.
I have also read that I can simply install v3.55 from "Safe/ Recovery Mode" menu then install CFW.
Another one says I can install CFW direct from XMB menu which seems a bit BS.. seems far too easy.

Any feedback from people with experience in doing this would be much appreciated!
