I've been playing a little bit of Geoguessr after discovering it via xkcd, and becoming an expert at recognising locations from the vegetation, road markings and road sign morphology.  Good fun to play with someone else sitting at the computer with you too.

Has anyone seen anywhere in New Zealand appear as one of the guesses?  We thought we caught one yesterday, it was fairly flat, had lots of cows, manuka trees, a boat on a trailer, some weatherboard houses and even a Harcourts for sale sign. Turned out it was in Tasmania..

Also still having trouble differentiating between the Aussie outback and southern Africa

Anyone else playing, have you got anywhere in NZ yet?
