Only 13% off, but who knows hopefully some items might be more than 13% (Doesn't look like it though)

Im not expecting much, but its better than nothing.

Wonder if there will be any bargains

Yeah, generally find EB expensive, some of their older sale stuff is good value however.

It's a shame that EB Games are always so expensive, the only time I buy something is when I'm pick up a console as they're rarely discounted and EB are pretty good about warranties but for games they are always the most expensive. GTAV is $88 at the Warehouse and $118 at EB, that's just plain greed and they're even worse with stuff like COD.

Haven't bought something from EB games in years. Doesn't seem to be any reason to anymore.
They can't compete on prices.

I'd rather buy it online. And if for some reason I needed to get it asap, there's plenty of other shops that are much cheaper.

I'm surprised EB is still around...

Last time I went to EB games, they had a special where they were offering 50% more on trade in's, I took a heap of games and traded them in and got good money/credit for them, the funny part is that I traded FallOut3 normal edition and got FallOut3 GOTY edition for less! Other than that they are too expensive and I don't even bother anymore.

ricky1981: EB are pretty good about warranties

Far from the truth, i've had 2 ps3's crap out within warranty period and both times they have told me its not there problem and that i need to contact sony, then had to pay postage on sending the ps3's away to be repaired. havn't stepped foot in EB since

Shame, my 360 failed (this was a while back admittedly) and they were pretty good about it. If nothing else I like having an actual physical store to complain to if hardware fails, shame that in Chch there really aren't too many options for proper game retailers.
