Hey I was wondering if any one knows what the limitations of the ps4 recordings are.
And more precisely do they know if the recordings will record your voice from an connected headset or not.

Gameplay recording is limited to 15 minutes. If you have a headset connected to the controller, then it should record everything you or anyone else says in the game since it's a game DVR really.

Do whatever you want to do man.

15 minits that's a bit limiting if you want to edit it.

I don't think they've confirmed how long you can record for if you manually record. It automatically records the last 15 minutes of gameplay though.

Thats quite cool but i dont think you can export to pc. You can only upload to various video sites.

PS4 only has an hdmi output which means HDCP and therefore no recording using external DVRs. Which is quite a let down to be honest, not hat i record any way.

I think i read somewhere a while ago where Sony confirmed that you can use one of the ports at the back for analog output.

Even still the video will have to be stored somewhere on the harddrive. U should be able to find it and copy it.

and if not you could just upload the footage to YouTube then download it to your comp for editing. Still that will be a waste of bandwidth.
