I don't know what you're asking sorry. Even google translate couldn't tell me. Who is still using DES anyway, it's far too insecure.

"Hey guys. I'm just wondering whether anyone here produces their own "Let's Play" videos. If you do, which games do you use?"

:)

Edit: I suppose, in a pinch, that I could actually answer the question. No, I do not.

Lol you got it. And des was a typo I could not fix it because my phone is lagging to much and sent the message before I could change the spelling. Then I tried to fix it and the browser crashed. Sorry.

Question why can't I edit the first post?

You get a certain amount of time (I think it's an hour) then it becomes read-only.

A "Let's Play", is when you record yourself (and sometimes with a friend) playing a video game. Usually it's then uploaded to YouTube.

EG: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHngf-CKCzk

And no I don't. But if I did it'd be Minecraft/GTA5.

Ow. I know what you meant. I've always wanted to do my own "Lets Play" but never have.

I guess you don't need much just Fraps, to capture the action, and something to record your voice (a mic or smartphone).

Then combine the two in windows movie maker/iMovie or just in youtube video editor.

I really like Kikoskia
http://www.youtube.com/user/Kikoskia
Because hes got a great voice with brit accent, good sense of humor, and plays games I like. Particularly the old (1990's) x-com:enemy unkown/ufo defence.

//Edit I may as well ad the second video, because it actually shows the tactical combat, yeah, and you care...

1994 - UFO: Enemy Unknown, aka X-COM: UFO Defense (in North America). I still have the manual around somewhere... ;)

The more recent X-COM: Enemy Unknown got it's name from amalgamating the global/US titles of the original.

ahh yes no wonder I got the name mixed up. I still play the old version. I prefer UFO Defense, but it can be a little too easy, Terror from the deep is good for a laugh it is so hard, you definitely don't want to take it seriously or else you might end in tears. :)

Yes and no. I mean u can record a cheep letsplay with fraps and your smartphone. But wether or not people will sit there and watch it is a total different story.

For example If I recorded minecraft with QuickTime and use my built in mic. The video would lagg till the point you would want to pull your hair out and the audio quiltey could be used as an torcher device.

Of course I could fix that by reducing my screens resolution and use my head set. But if you would really want people to enjoy your video you would have to use nice clear mic's, decent recording software, you would have to sit there and edit out boring parts and having more then one person in the video makes it more entertaining and it often leads to better jokes.

Thats why you record the audio on a separate device like a smartphone...?
Its an extra step to re-combine the audio and video, but solves those kinds of problems?

I'm not sure about a better solution for recording the graphics however.

As you say i definitely would not watch one where the video was recorded on a smartphone camera over someones shoulder.

I explained how you would fix it you would reduce the screens revaluation so that qt dose not have to record as many pixels and reduces the lagg.

And the audio would be improved by using a head set.
And plz plz don't record audio on a seprit device from the video. Do u know how hard it is to sync audio to video?

Anyway the point is that yes you can make lp's on the cheep but if you do that you will get a cheep result.

Yes, you explained _one_ way to fix it, that included compromises (resolution)...

A better solution might be to use separate hardware to record your vga output for example, as you allude to, this would require more $$$.
