I like to play action RPGs, (Diablo II, Titan Quest, Torchlight, Sacred, Dungeon Siege). Was wondering if anyone else here does too? I'd like to start some multiplayer goodness, any game will do - if it's like the mentioned games I don't buying a copy. Trying to get back into them after a break.

A couple worth having a look at currently are;

-Path of Exile - a kiwi made game which many consider the spiritual successor to Diablo 2, I've not played it since early Beta and it was pretty good then and has supposedly improved a fair bit. Free to play with cosmetic items and stash tabs able to be purchased to support the developers. From what I recall updates are done on a regular basis and always tweaking and adding more to the game.

-Marvel Heroes - Think Diablo with Iron Man and The Hulk etc instead of classes, one of the original Diablo developers is the head of the company making it, they're up to about 30 characters in game and they're adding approx 1 per month as well as constant reviewing and updates of existing heroes for balance. I've put far too many hours into this so far. Free to play with costumes, stash tabs and additional heroes able to be bought. Additional heroes can also be purchased with in game currency that drops on a regular basis.

-Diablo 3 has just had a new expansion pack released, I've not played it but I've heard good things. It's a regular old buy game and buy the expansion pack, there used to be an in game auction house but that was discontinued with the expansion.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I have looked at Path of Exile and it intruiged me. I'm really not a fan of public multiplayer though, but I might end up trying this again. I was hoping to find someone who wanted to play private multiplayer but this can be a last resort.
