Hi all

I read that Microsoft is going to remove XBOX LIVE GOLD membership requirements soon for a lot of stuff.

Any updates on that? is that only for US, or is it global?

Regards

It for everyone. Here is an extract from an email I got from Microsoft.

Also coming in June, all Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners will get access to popular entertainment apps on Xbox without needing an Xbox Live Gold membership*. This means that everyone can enjoy the amazing gaming, TV and entertainment experiences that Xbox has to offer, right out of the box.

Changes happened yesterday evening for us. Tried NF on a non live login and away we went.

Perfect ! We now no longer get that annoying box on screen everytime somebody comes on line.

List of apps and which countries getting them can be found Here.

Still no Kinect voice support either.
