As seen in the GZ news item, Microsoft are releasing a Xbox 360 Halo 3 Special Edition with the following:

• Halo 3 Special Edition Console
• Halo 3 Special Edition Wireless Controller
• Halo 3 Special Edition 20GB Hard Drive
• Halo 3 Special Edition Wired Headset
• Halo 3 Special Edition Gamer Pics and Theme
• Component HD AV Cable
• Ethernet Cable
• HDMI Port
• Play & Charge Kit
• Xbox LIVE Silver Membership (including access to Halo 3 Gamer Pics and Theme)
• One-month Xbox LIVE Gold Membership

From what I've seen of the pictures, this looks mighty wicked.  However, one question does spring to mind... if this is a special edition release celebrating a "flagship" game, why doesn't the pack include said game???

I was also surprised with the news that the Halo 3 Special Edition wouldn't actually come with a copy of Halo 3 game...

You now have a comment :p

People may not want it with the game. If I was to buy the console, I would only want it with the standard version of the game.

However, there are people out there who would want Master Chiefs helmet, and therefore not want the standard game.

So what do they bundle with it?
