Hi people,

As I have mentioned before, I rent a Gaming Server from www.gamers.net.nz & I have found this option to be the cheapest available in New Zealand.

I pay $28 a month, for a 10 Slot UT99 Gaming Server, of which is hosted in the Orcon Data Centre in Auckland.

I get the following access/features:

# 24/7/365 Access to the Server
# Online Control Panel
# Full FTP Access
# Full Admin Access
# No Bandwidth Limit
# Branded Server
# Free Website - 50MB's of space

Maurcio asked to make a post about this, as some people here might be interested in renting a gaming server. However, it should be noted, that currently there are no new servers being provisioned, due to popularity of this business, despite them recently adding two new servers last month.

I would also like to state, that I have no financial interest is this company whatsoever, I have merely posted this information for the use of other members on Geekzone, for further information, please go to the above website in the first paragraph.

A truly local server system,, hmmm,  shame there are no new servers available as i'd been looking at this possibility as I need basic web hosting too... problem is I just cannot decide which game to play, one night it's Unreal old version, , the next Half-life II or the mods.

I imagine the server shortage will soon be addressed, hopefully by some time next month. What nick name do you use when you play UT99?
