The GTX 470 will be incompatible with Nvidia Gamestream so will be really bad performance wise, you need a 600 series or higher card

GTX 750 TI is what I recommend

T
he reasons are, more modern architecture, lower power consumption, better performance an cost effective price with warranty

Gtx 470 is so old, it's like 5 years old. Don't even bother.

Get something new, it'll be better in every way.

What does Nvidia Gamestream have to do with Steam, you have the option to stream anything from your steam machine.

Nvidia cards that are capable of Gamestream have inbuilt hardware encoding which makes performance better...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nvidia_NVENC

Not present on the GTX 470

Additonally cards capable of Gamestream can be used with Limelight which is open source software for using Nvidia Gamestream on multiple platforms as well as from outside of home.

Cool, well I'm more interested in steam steaming service, as the title says. Looked at the 750Ti but i don't play enough to pay that much money. Maybe 1 or 2 times a week...

The steam streaming service uses hardware encoding to perform better, otherwise your CPU will be stuck trying to encode the stream...

$230 is not a lot of money when it comes to graphics cards.
